Triage®
The Triage® System* includes cardiovascular tools to
aid in the diagnosis and assessment of heart failure and in risk
stratification in acute coronary syndromes and heart failure, aid
in diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction and in the assessment
and evaluation of patients suspected of having disseminated
intravascular coagulation or thromboembolic events including
pulmonary embolism (PE) and DVT.
- Triage® BNP
Test
An immunoassay that measures B-type Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) in
whole blood or plasma, used as an aid in the diagnosis and
assessment of severity of heart failure. The test is also used for
the risk stratification of patients with acute coronary syndromes
and the risk stratification of patients with heart failure.
- Triage®
Cardiac Panel
An immunoassay for the quantitative determination of CK-MB,
myoglobin, and troponin I in whole blood or plasma, as an aid in
the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction.
- Triage® Cardio ProfilER®
Panel
An immunoassay for use as an aid in the diagnosis of acute
myocardial infarction, the diagnosis and assessment of severity of
heart failure, risk stratification of patients with acute coronary
syndromes and risk stratification of patients with heart failure..
The panel combines troponin I, CK-MB, myoglobin, and BNP to provide
rapid, accurate results in whole blood and plasma.
- Triage® Profiler Shortness of Breath (S.O.B.)
Panel.
An immunoassay for use as an aid in the
diagnosis of myocardial infarction, the diagnosis and assessment of
severity of heart disease, the assessment and evaluation of
patients suspected of having disseminated intravascular coagulation
and thromboembolic events including pulmonary embolism and DVT, the
risk stratification of patients with acute coronary syndromes and
the risk stratification of patients with heart failure. The
panel combines troponin I, CK-MB, myoglobin, BNP and d-Dimer to
provide rapid, accurate results in whole blood and
plasma.
- Triage®
D-Dimer Test
An immunoassay for use as an aid in the assessment and evaluation
of patients suspected of having disseminated intravascular
coagulation or thromboembolic events including pulmonary embolism
(PE) and DVT
- **Triage®
NGAL Test
Biosite proudly announces the availability of
the Triage® NGAL Test for the rapid quantitative
determination of Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL).
With the simple application of ~250 µl of EDTA anticoagulated whole
blood or plasma, it provides a quantitative result in approximately
15 minutes at either the point of care on in the clinical lab. This
test requires no sample processing, precision pipetting or daily
liquid controls and runs on the established Triage® NGAL
Meters, which are widely deployed throughout the world.
* The Triage System can also perform a qualitative
drugs of abuse panel. See Drugs of
Abuse for more information.
** The Triage®
NGAL Test is not currently available in the United States.
